Hey I'm Kay.

My name is Kayleigh Likens. I'm currently a senior Art Major at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida; I will graduate in December 2017 with a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Studio Art. 

At age 16, I moved to New York City as a professional ballerina. I serendipitously discovered that my artistic abilities and "eye" extended beyond the performance arts quite by accident. While in New York, I met some talented artists and photographers, and began drawing portraits for friends and family. After some positive feedback and encouragement, I decided to pursue a degree and career as a professional artist and photographer.

My style ranges anywhere from traditional oil on canvas portraits to pencil drawings, photography, and edgy modern expression. I've even explored combining ballet and performance art as well as video art on canvas! Driven by the expression of the soul through creative medium, I'm lucky to do what I love every day.
